Finale

I initially wanted Algae Coin to be a fully convertible currency so people could buy and sell it with traditional currencies. However, defeat the mechanism by which the supply and demand of the algae product would work.

Purchase Algae Coin widget • David Valente

We had this widget on the landing page for people to buy their way into Algae Coin, this is now substituted for select packages people can purchase with GDP to join the platform.

Wallet screen • David Valente

The month over month % change in revenue is now replaced with the raw monthly earnings as the app didn’t need to be too finically motivated. Tank 3 (red) shows the edge case where a tank was rejected by Algae Corp for a reason displayed in the ⓘ tooltip. For instance there was a contaminate in the batch.

Contrary to amazon where they start selling others products then trickle in their own, Algae Corp starts selling their own product then overtime can help work with others to produce and distribute their product, at the users benefit.

Farm dashboard • David Valente

This is the main monitoring dashboard for the algae growth. The previous stats chart has been simplifies into the single production line in the upper right. We now also include a status for the lifecycle of an algae cultivation batch which adapts to different growth rates and tank sizes.

Landing page 1.0 • David Valente

We created a web landing page to explain the platform and onboard people. This is the first iteration with the aforementioned features.

Landing page 2.0 • David Valente

This iteration includes the new feature to purchase a package to onboard to the platform. Once engaging with Algae Corp you can earn Algae Coin to buy any tank and algae of your choosing.

I uploaded the prototype to Overflow which allowed a more holistic overview of the IA with the fidelity of the final prototype.
