Is there $ on mars

Before getting started on generating ideas for this project, I had a look at the selling points of those trying to innovate and problem solve in this space, fin-tech banks.

Fin-tech banks

N26, Monzo, Monese, Anna, Revolut, Starling, Tandem, Zero, Coconut, Viola, Viola Black, Plum, Curve and Petal.

All of these new fin-tech banks tout clean UI, great customer support, intelligent platform features and speed and key selling points. This would thus have to be key attributes of our experience.

CryptoKitties are essentially unique cartoon cats on the blockchain. One thought would be to copy this model and assign tradable graphics to tangible objects and services in the real world.

Other ideas included users getting a spare of the profits from their data, this would introduce another layer of transparency and responsibility to both users and business’. Another concept involves a banking platform that lied to its users to make them more finically responsible and stable.

Finally the main concept I had funning at this point is interplanetary trade. We are now at the point where its likely humans will settle on Mars as a backup. Should this happen, what currency would they use, no country currently has economic jurisdiction on any other planet, and would the Americans we allowed by other nations to gain this by going there first. Optimistically, what new form of payment could we introduce in a new society 2.0. Furthermore, would this evolve as we invade more planets, and how would we trade with aliens should we come in touch, with a species with the intelligence and mobility closer to ours.

At this point we came back to Earth and looked at Complementary Currencies, to help solve local issues like economic development for smaller communities and nurturing sustainable lifestyles. Contrary to the new Chinese Credit System, FUREAI KIPPU, rewards people who voluntarily help the elderly. We could expand this to all sorts of charitable acts, and opportunities to help grow communities. with rewards that feed back into communities. People help unload a truck and are rewarded with credit they can spend in that given shop for instance. A similar thing was sone in Brazil, where people were rewarded with bus tickets for clearing up trash.
