Narrative

At this point we had agreed on a narrative to support this somewhat speculative platform. The vast majority of what goes into this project is possible today. The only stretch is the viability of cultivation crop economically through the use of individuals rather than large farms.

Story:
• Cost of consumer goods goes up (food, fuel)
• Algae proves a sustainable and lucrative alternative for producing products
• However algae growth uses lots of water, so doing it on mass scale on a farm is not viable
• Thus, a company pays individuals to farm it in their houses and pays them in credit
• This credit can spend on the products their produce (in local stores too)
• It now becomes cheaper to grow algae and buy some goods then buy the equivalent with £

Riding with the wave of more efficient mode of transporting people around metropolitan places, we may partner with these companies to help courier the algae too and from the users and Algae Corp.

This whiteboard technique allows us to get an unspecific summary of the life around a given use-base.

From this we found that we would need to divert attention away from the volume of products produced and towards other incentives, for instance, being rewarded for engaging with the platform over a longer period.
